Come Explore Dover Furnace Located in the Southeastern corner of Dutchess County, Dover Furnace Shooting Grounds is a unique sporting clays experience, offering a wide variety of activities for the shooting enthusiast. Hidden in the town of Dover, the shooting grounds revolve around a 35 foot stone Iron Ore furnace built in 1881 and hosts a world class clay target facility 2nd to none! Venues offered: 22 Sporting clay stations 4 FITASC fields Trap and Skeet 5 Stand Upland Bird Hunting The course utilizes Long range wireless key systems with both prepaid and pay as you shoot options available. The 22 station sporting clays course is challenging for all guns, expert as well as novice. Cart rentals are available. The pro shop features the latest in men and women’s Beretta guns, apparel and equipment. Field hunting packages are available as well as shooting instruction.
